      Entretien pour Remarketing Manager

      Candidature

J'ai postulé via une autre source. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez DriveTime Automotive Group (Phoenix, AZ) en janv. 2016

      Entretien

The interview process was very long, drawn out, and very unorganized. I had four phone interviews and one face to face before they flew me out to their corporate office. The recruiter had no clue as to what was going on in the process when I called her to follow up. She made me feel like I was the first person that she had ever recruited. She always "thought" that someone else had already called me to tell me the next step yet she was the recruiter. I called her to ask would there be transportation waiting for me at the airport to take me to their office once I got there and her response was, "I don't know, but that's a good question." I had FIVE Interviews just to be flown out to their corporate office in Phoenix, so I could receive a generic turn down letter that stated I wasn't a "Cultural Fit" for their company. What does that even mean? I was told I was qualified for the position, yet I wasn't a "Cultural Fit!" Honestly, I don't understand how I made it through Five Interviews and did well, and the moment they laid eyes on me I'm not a cultural fit for the organization. What's even more ironic is the person who would have been my boss had extremely less management experience than I did. My point in saying that was on paper I was qualified to do his job yet I wasn't hired for the advertised position. In retrospect, I'm glad I found out what a sorry company they were before a potential job offer was given to me. They were so unprofessional, that during my interview one of the directors found out I had worked at a previous job, and he pulled out his cell phone and called someone that he knew worked there during the same time period as me and proceeded to ask them in front of me if the knew me. They are very unorganized, very unprofessional, and seem to want someone who's skin is lighter than mine was.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

The usual questions. Tell me about a time you have done this or experienced that. They of course were looking for specifics of what you have done and not what you would do.

Yikes - this does sound like a subpar experience all around. On behalf of the organization, I apologize we didn't live up to your expectations. We try to make all interview experiences a positive and constructive one, regardless if an offer is being made or not. Obviously we fell short on this one. Best of luck to you on your future interviews and we appreciate you taking the time to leave us feedback, it has already been shared with the recruiting team.
