Did not have an on-campus interview, but interviewed at all 3 R&D sites for Dow. Started off with a seminar at the first site and series of interviews with hiring managers and research fellows.

Standard behavioral questions and technical questions based on seminar
The interview involved 4 days of interviewing with multiple groups as they will see which group is your best fit within the organization. It seems like the interview process sets up the candidate for success by giving them mutliple chances by interviewing with multiple groups. The process is exhausting but worth it. The interview questions are a combination of technical and soft skills (give me an example of team work etc) type questions. People from diverse backgrounds work there, so even if you don't have the right background for the position, that is ok. All they are looking for is a person who can think critically and has good problem solving skills.

They might give you a hypothetical scenario/challenge and ask you how you will solve this problem.

Arrived midland the day before. All day interview. Super nice people. Make sure to rest well the day before. Bring extra bottle of water. They have water fountain, but you will find yourself drinking so much water so fast because you are talking nonstop for several hours.

Technical questions. mostly nontechnical questions. what have you done to improve professional skills? how have you helped the others for their success? any challenge you had to overcome to resolve technical and nontechnical problems? How do you approach solving a problem? Describe your management style. Describe previous leadership role. How others helped you for your success? What have you learn from graduate school experience that you wish you knew before started the program? What are key aspects you are looking for in selecting potential employer? Location matter?
