I wish I didn't waste my time interviewing. A recruiter initially contacted me and I had a great phone screen. I was excited about the opportunity. They said they would set up my interview with the Hiring manager but didn't until I emailed them over a week later asking for a status. The interview with the Hiring manager went really well except he gave me incorrect information about my final interview. He said I could choose which programming language to test in so I spent a week prepping and doing test questions for my preferred language. I get to the final interview and the person says that the hiring manager was wrong, I could not test in the language I prepared for (mind you, my preferred language was directly tied to what I'd be doing on a daily basis). The other half of this interview was questions that weren't even related to my job role. It was a huge let down because I know I would've done extremely well at this role. Since Ive interviewed they've reposted the job role after it had hundreds of applicants. I dont think the talent is the problem here
