After carefully crafting and tailoring my resume and cover letter to this job role, I was excited to land a conversation with a recruiter. However, the phone interview did not meet my expectations. From the start, the recruiter did not provide an introduction or address me by name, which set an impersonal tone. Throughout the conversation, responses felt dismissive, and I was interrupted multiple times while answering questions, despite providing relevant examples from my experience.
