The first round interviewer was late, but was apologetic. The person was friendly and pleasant, and conversation went well, and I was told I could expect to hear back from their recruiter within a few days. I didn't hear anything, so I had to chase them for next steps.
During the next round, I spoke to 2 people back to back, with both conversations flowing well and the mock call/role play going well. I was told I did better than I thought, and both people gave no indication that I was not going to be a good fit for the role. Even when prompted, neither had any concerns or reservations.
I received a template message from the recruiter a few days later saying I had been unsucessful, and that their policy is to not provide any feedback.
I found this strange, considering the time and effort thus far. I was somewhat taken aback when I received an email asking for MY feedback! This left a somewhat bitter taste in the mouth. I think if they exepct their candidates to provide feedback, it is only fair that they do the same.
