      I applied online with my resume, cover letter, and what my favorite restaurant is and why. The next day I was contacted to set up a phone interview. The interview lasted about 30 minutes. They asked basic questions like why I wanted to work at Doordash and about my experiences. A few days later I was emailed and told that I was not the right fit and I was not asked to come in for an in person interview.

      I was quite disappointed with the interview process at DoorDash. Initial conversation with hiring manager - Interviewer never responded to me confirming the interview day/time nor provided a zoom link. On the interview day, the interviewer ended up calling me and was about 10 minutes late. The interviewer mentioned that they would provide a follow-up question but never did until I followed up twice. Take home assignment - Very straightforward case. Had 24 hours to complete. Final round, 4 interviews back-to-back - Standard behavioral questions + Case for last interview This process took ~2.5 months with no offer through a generic email. When I asked for feedback, I was told that they didn't have any. This is pretty brutal considering how long I was interviewing with them, especially through a pandemic. Furthermore, most of the interviewers didn't have the decency to respond to the thank you emails sent after interviewing. Overall, the recruiters are generally friendly and quick to respond. However, for a company that sells itself to be customer-centric and to have a great culture, this experience was truly contradicting and disappointing.
