They reached out to me on LinkedIn. We set a time to connect. They were about 10 minutes late. They were a director, rather than a recruiter (kind of odd since they reached out to me on LinkedIn). They didn't seem to know too much about his own team and provided fairly vague or uncertain information. I probed a bit more but was not able to find more info. I even asked what position I was considered for, and that was unclear. After one or two more attempts to find information and with no luck, I think he realized I was not interested. It's hard to be excited about a potential opportunity when there is a lack of clear information provided, except for finding out that a director at this company cannot clearly talk about what his team does. He said he'll recommend the recruiter or HR to follow up with next steps, but nothing came about that -- it was just a formality I think. And with that, the call was over in 8 minutes. Overall, it was just a very odd experience. I really wasn't sure what he was trying to get out of this when he reached out. He was unprepared, not knowledgeable, and was late without acknowledging it. It really seemed like it was a waste of time.

Submitted resume via online with no referrals. Spoke with recruiters and HM. Took some time to have interview but overall, process was easy. No tests were provided. Recruiters were kind.
