Someone from Business Operations Mgmt group had reached out to me on LinkedIn. After reading JD, i really got interested in the role. After i responded about my availability that person got back to me after 2 weeks saying, recruiter from Doordash will reach out to you and explain you about next process. I was completely fine with that. Recruiter called me who was extremely rude was not sure what was she trying to ask or explain about the role also her dog was constantly barking in the background, Which was very annoying to me as a candidate and showed how unprofessional any recruiter could be. After all conversation with lots of dog disturbance she suddenly said that I need to go and thank you for your time. 1 week later she emailed me saying we have not decided to go with you. I was not pissed at all as i would never like to work for such companies where HR recruiter are so rude. Why do we expect all the time that Candidate should only be professional while talking .

The hiring manager, who reached out to me on linkedin, was more than 10 minutes late to the initial phone screen. I don't think he liked my answer to the tell me about yourself prompt and pretended to lose connection before hanging up. He did not attempt to reach out again and ignored my call back
