I was contacted on LinkedIn by a recruiter from DoorDash. I was not actively seeking but decided to speak with her. She was very nice and set up an interview with two hiring managers. Here is where I lose interest with this company. I spent two hours of my time with two different managers, of which neither seemed engaged or interested. They were not able to answer questions I asked, which are typical questions I think anyone asks when interviewing for a company. You can't even answer questions about the company you work for? That is a definite red flag. I have to say it was one of the most unorganized processes I have ever experienced. Also, why not eliminate some of the time you are wasting and have both managers (who essentially ask the same questions) on the phone at the same time? They did give very positive feedback and said I would get a call with next steps. Two days later I get an email telling me they did not feel I was the right fit for the company. I find that hard to believe as I have been in sales for over 10 years with an extremely successful track record, not to mention you sought me out, so I respond and ask for feedback. The recruiter can't even respond to that. I did not get a job offer nor would I have accepted regardless. I don't recommend this company or wasting your time with the interview process. This would however, probably more suitable for someone fresh out of college wanting to get some experience.

The recruiter/team lead reached out to me on LinkedIn. I scheduled time and they no showed me without even an apology email. Just a rescheduled gcal event. Then when he finally showed up days later, he asked why I applied for the role (I didn’t). Proceeded to tell me basically how bad they were doing in terms of market share in nyc (lowest out of the apps). Then he asked why I applied years ago. I didn’t, it was the same situation. A recruiter reached out and I interviewed. Funny thing- when I interviewed originally in 2017 they left me in a conference room and went home. Yes, really. At least this time around I heard back from them!
