J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez DoorDash

      Entretien

Started interviewing back in August and did I think it was 3-4 rounds total from August-September; end of Sept they told me I'd be better suited for a more "Senior" role and had me do another interview with an executive in the beginning of October. I kept reaching out each week for an update as I was told it would be about a week for a decision and each week they told me maybe next week they'd have a decision but that I was still in consideration. I just got a decision 11/13 that I was not selected. From applying to final decision was over 100 days. Really a disappointing experience for me. I felt like their product is really cool and I was excited about the opportunity, but the interview process made me feel very defeated.

They had me do a presentation on their core competencies and provide examples like "Relentless ambition"

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez DoorDash (Los Angeles, CA) en oct. 2025

      Entretien

Humiliating interview process. A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn in mid-August. We agreed to have a brief phone screen in late August. There were four rounds in total, including the initial screen with the recruiter. The second round was a Zoom interview with a member of the hiring team in early September, followed by another round in late September, and a final presentation round in late October. The final round required a 20-minute presentation about past experience, with specific examples and a prepared slide deck, followed by a 10-minute Questions and Answer session. It only took them 48 hours to send an automated rejection email with no indication of where I might have fallen short. The fit seemed obvious, and I’m left wondering what kind of candidate they’re truly seeking. I strongly advise against applying or interviewing for this role, as the hiring team appears detached from reality. It seems they’re searching for a candidate who doesn’t exist, and I doubt they’ll fill the position externally anytime soon. Save yourself the time and energy. The recruitment process is disingenuous and feels like a humiliation ritual.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

Here are the topics I chose to present during the final round (presentation): 1. Relentless Ambition: Give an example of how you took initiative to solve a problem or create a new opportunity outside of your normal duties. 2. Disciplined Execution: Tell about a time when you dropped the ball with a customer and how you recovered to get back on track and changed your behavior to prevent it from happening again 3. Radical Candor: Explain when you’ve deal with resistance from someone at work (e.g., manager, team member, customer) and how you influenced them to do what you recommended
