Received an invite from the recruiter regarding the role. Had the first stage of interview asking for my background, skills and interests. I felt it went great, and answer the questions well and my background seemed to match with what they were looking for. Received a mail next day telling that the role had been filled, even though I was told that they started recruiting recently and consists of a 3-week process.
