I received an invitation plus a short agenda (including what behavioural questions to expect) for a 30 minute call on a Monday. On the interview day, the interviewer wanted to know how I spent my weekend and what I did.
I admitted I was paying a visit to another country in Europe, and the interview agenda suddenly shifted on what am I doing in that country, why am I visiting the country, how long have I been living in Ireland, and subsequent questions irrelevant to the job or the interview agenda. The interviewer got under my skin to the point that they did not ask any behavioural questions. Days later I got rejected....obviously.
