Phone interviews. First with HR recruiter. Second was with the heads of marketing.
The recruiter asked me when I was available for a second interview via email, but took almost a week to reply. At that point, I had to give new dates/times. The recruiter asked the basic background questions.
The heads of marketing was a very odd interview. They were together on speaker phone in a room with strong echo. It was extremely difficult to hear them at times. And then some of their questions and remarks showed their lack of knowledge in the digital marketing realm, and made it hard for me to convey answers as a result. Almost like explaining how to rebuild a car engine to my grandmother. I tried to change my wording, but I found it hard to do so. I knew the interview went poorly because of this.
And the idea of an impersonal phone interview, when I lived in the same city where they were calling, was strange.
