Secretary called me to come in for an interview with the store manager, it was a very comfortable open door setting. Make sure you laugh and smile a lot, it helps to show you have good communication skills

Question 1
They asked me about selling experience and they want you to try to sell a whole outfit not just a piece. So if they tell you about a scenario where a customer is asking for help finding a shirt, you should show them pants, a coat, accessories and shoes to complete their look.
Standard interview, quite short (20 minutes) for the first round. Asked about past experience, sales skills, expected pay, and my future goals at the company. Interviewers were very nice and welcoming, made the experience much less intimidating!
Not sure what to expect. When I spoke to the manager it felt very condescending and off putting. The interview was fine but they exaggerated the amount of commission associates can make and didn’t even give me a chance to agree to a job offer just assumed that I would take it. I don’t have very high hopes about how it will be working there. When I came in for my interview one associate didn’t even greet me like she did the last customer and the energy of the atmosphere just felt super dull and soulless. I need this job on my resume as a fashion business student for internships so I’ll push through but not at all optimistic about the work environment.
