I was referred by an employee to digicert and he submitted my resume. I know Digicert has been super busy but the hiring process seemed to take longer than it should have. I was asked to interview and everything went fine, i was told I would hear back in about 2 weeks when they were wanting to do 2nd interview. 5 weeks later I heard back only after nagging my contact at digicert who had to then nag the appropriate people. After 2nd I was told I would hear back within a week. After a week and a half I called the interviewer who said I had the job but was getting with the talent acquisition team to send out an offer. Interviewer said I should receive one within 72 hours. After the 3 days I reached back out and was told it was in the talent acquisitions team's hands. Then about a week later I finally got the offer. I don't know if it was because I didn't go through the normal process why it seemed like the process took forever to get responses back but it was frustrating for me. Even my contact apologized for what I was going through and he was embarrassed with what happened.
