The interview for the job posting said that the position would be for supporting mobile app development, particularly with React Native, and said knowing front end technologies such as Typescript, Quazar, and Vue JS would be a plus. The posting also mentioned having basic knowledge of a back end framework like Node.js would be beneficial.
The interview was basically a coding assessment in Java, not JavaScript. Java. Nowhere on the job description did it mention needing Java skills. This coding assessment was on making a customized object based stack in Java. If you want someone with Java skills beyond beginner level, you should put that on the job description.
The person interviewing me then told me about the developers being tasked with fighting fires by solving bugs and how they aren't worked too long doing that to avoid burning them out. That came off as a big red flag to me.
