Even when they were clearly incorrect, their reluctance to admit mistakes was a significant red flag. This kind of behaviour suggests a lack of humility and openness to feedback, which are crucial for a positive work environment. The manager round was pretty bad too. The Manager exhibited a notably negative demeanor and seemed uncomfortable throughout the interaction which felt a clear disconnection, as the Manager struggled to engage. His lack of rapport and the overall negative tone have reflected underlying issues within his management style, which could be concerning for a prospective employee. The interview process highlighted a few key areas of concern. The ego-driven behavior of the Principal Consultants and the Manager’s negative attitude and discomfort were potential issues with team dynamics and leadership.
