Multi part interview as others have described. Initial interview to see if you fit, 2nd interview for job details and 3rd interview with upper management. There is a large ask from candidates with very little feedback from the employer as well as not much respect of the work just getting through the interview process. I dont have an issue with making sure a person is the right fit within the company culture as its a 2A based company and that in itself is polarizing where you are either for it or not so I can agree with the process of making sure someone is on board with the firearm industry. What I would say was a turn off for me was the amount of work put in to both write an essay as well as prepare a 7 minute presentation for my interview and the only reason I got a response back was because I reached out directly. That part doesnt bother me as much as the fact that the way I was told I was not getting the job was with the canned response from Indeed. I live and work in sales so being told no isnt a problem, but to go through all the work it is in this interview process to not have the respect for the candidates to say appreciate your time and effort but we dont think this is a fit for XYZ reason is a bit of a slap in the face for the amount of time it took to prepare for this interview. Mainly in the sales presentation aspect of the interview you are given 5 bullet points that you have to cover during the presentation but its not made clear what they are even looking for. All you are told is they want to see both your verbal and non verbal communication aspects and for the presentation to be 7 minutes or less. So that leaves you guessing as to how to create your presentation with no real guidelines other than you have to cover 5 points. Once I received the generic indeed response to not getting the position I reached out to the hiring managers just to see if I could get some insight as to what I needed to work on, as in sales you have to always be learning and growing but I got no response from either RM or DM. Working in sales taking constructive criticism is how to get better but when you invest 15+ hours into a job interview to simply just be rejected by an indeed auto response makes me question what it would actually be like working for this company at the end of the day...

3 interviews. First interview is informal. Second is with your DM. Third is with DM & RM and you’ll have to pitch. It was an average interview process. Make sure to sell yourself.

You have an initial informal interview with HR. They do a good job of putting you at ease and really just seeing if you're a fit for their company culture. If they think you're a good fit, they'll have you interview with your DM. After asking about your experience and more questions about whether you fit into their company culture, you're to give an elevator pitch about their product. As long as you believe in the second amendment, it seems like the pitch is what they are really looking for. I appreciate that they're looking for the perfect fit for each role. Overall, after asking why I wasn't qualified for the position, I was told, "When we know, we know."
