Second Skype interview with another Software Engineer(1.5hr) I write this review to prepare others and give feedback to Delivery Hero. On my second interview, I was interviewed by a Brazilian guy who spoke with an accent that was hard to understand. To make matters worse, he struggles with singular and plural forms. I understand the guy probably speaks about 4 languages and an accent and quality of the English he speaks isn't something he can change overnight. The problem came on the coding challenge. Because f his poor English, he asked to do the wrong thing and to make matters worse, he wasn't following through. When I was done, he realized he had asked me to do the wrong thing. At this point, I was frustrated but I decided to continue with the interview. This time he started following through, but then he wanted me to implement the solution his way. In his poor English, he would describe what he wanted me to do. I could barely understand what he was saying. At this point, I just gave up on the interview. Delivery Hero seems like a nice company. For interviews, they should get interviewers with good English. In an interview, you shouldn't be struggling to understand a new accent.
