Straight forward and structured. First call was with the recruiter. Followed by meeting with the manger. Then a role play and then a final meeting with the director. Felt prepped before doing into each meeting and knew what topics will be discussed.
Recruiter was great, hit me up out the blue and have a great initial chat. Went through to speak with the hiring manager but it was clear from the get go he didn’t like me. I think he was intimidated by my numbers being a top performer and the fact I was older than him. I don’t think he really understood the role of an SDR manager and certainly speaking with him I don’t think it would have been beneficial for my own career goals. I’m looking for someone with more experience and skills than me so I can develop and I think this would have been the opposite. Big red flag and definitely not a fit for my ambitions!

Was referred by a current employee for this role that I was a bit overqualified for, took us about two weeks to get scheduled via LinkedIn messaging back and forth. I had one conversation with the hiring manager, who shortened our first conversation without reason just minutes before it took place. It was quick and nondescript during the 15 minutes we had. I was hit a few days later with a generic "thanks we went in another direction" email, I requested feedback twice as I was a bit surprised given my experience, but have yet to hear back. Disappointing to say the least.
