Phone interview that lasted an hour followed by a interview in person that lasted all day. I met with many individuals including those performing my job as well as the president and vice president. They did not seem to really agree on what they wanted in the person for the position and although the person who was supposed to be the hiring manager acted very interested, it became clear that they might keep him as the hiring manager.
It looked like a typical cramped startup; however, they were making great progress financially and with new customers and markets. Overall, they seemed like a great place to work if you are willing to put in the extra effort required at a startup. Everyone seemed very nice and excited to be there and about there work and the future of the company. It did feel like they all kept asking the same general questions and were not experienced interviewers. Although they agreed they needed more hands, it was not clear what hands they wanted.
I was told I would hear back in a week; however, it took many calls and emails along with four weeks to be told they did not want to make an offer.
