J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Datapine (Berlin) en août 2015
Entretien
There was an initial interview with HR, followed by a programming test, and some other interviews at their offices.
The initial interview with HR was quite unprofessional. She postponed our initial interview just with one hour notice, arguing that she couldn't talk because she had been sick. Certainly, she could have told me earlier so I would not have taken the afternoon off at work. During the interview I asked her about flexibility in their working hours, a question that she didn't seem to like very much. She told me she was going to send me the link for an online programming exam on the following day, which never happened.

Applied online from a job site. They sent email saying I might be a good fit and they sent an easy but time taking coding task. I carefully completed and sent it. However, they haven't returned anything positive or negative. I found them irreverent.

The first interview was (via Skype) with the HR manager of the venture fund which is head hunting people for their startups. It was a nice and short talk, I was asked mainly in general what I am working on in my current job and to describe my work experience, what I am passionate about, why I would like to change my job etc.
The second interview was (via Skype) with the CEO and founder of Datapine himself. 90% of the interview questions were about the technologiesI have used and the interviewer kept listing technologies and frameworks they are using and asking what's my experience with them. I'm not sure if he read my CV at all, because I didn't mention there those frameworks and tools which I was asked about my experience with them but which I have no experience with, so those questions didn't make sense. Maybe he has read my CV but his intention was merely to emphasise my lack of skills. The interview was pretty short, after 25 minutes he repeated all things which I am lacking in and said that he would like to continue with the interview process only if I lower my salary expectations because he considered that my salary expectation I told them is high above what they could offer me for my skill set.
The interviewer is no tech person at all and seems to have no experience with programming although most of the question were related to technologies.

What is your experience with AWS or other cloud platforms?
Imagine you are founding your own startup. What technologies (programming language, frameworks, database etc.) would you use? Which kind of software architecture would you use? How would you find employees to build up your team?
