Had a pre-screen conversation with a recruiter at Datadog for the role. After discussing my background and experience and other key aspects of the role, the recruiter confirmed that I would proceed to the full interview cycle with an interview with the senior manager next. One week passes and nothing. Upon asking when we proceed, I got told that the interview process is paused with some people in final rounds and looking to make a decision. Being mislead and then ghosted is not cool dear Datadog. You are destroying goodwill towards you fast.
