J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Databricks en févr. 2021
Entretien
Databricks interview process is among the longest (in terms of #interviews) that there is out there. Mine was 8 hours, including a final presentation.
that said, it was also one of the most fair and pleasant I had, especially when I compare to the likes of Facebook and Google which feel quite erratic and structured more like an SAT test than an interview.
The recruiter did an outstanding job in keeping contact with me constantly, and really helped with "selling" the company. During the interviews, I was mostly asked questions about my experience, but not without several drill downs in the details of that. The interviewers with their questioning really made sure that I actually had done what I said I had done, but always in a very professional and mentally stimulating way.
There were not prebaked questions or random brain teasers.
Overall, I was very pleased and my interview experience was part of the reasons why I decided to join the company.

Question 1
Lots of questions on my work experience, down to the details.
I was also asked to describe a product I like and to propose improvements to it, explaining the business plan and the market potential that such improvements would realize.

Behavioral screen, then three interviews (45min each), take home case assignment that is fairly easy. Interviews were quite basic technically, and would say it’s not hard to pass. Would just say that you may run into a pretentious interviewer, in that case keep your head down and prepare.

1st round recruiter, 2nd hiring manager, extremely friendly and professional with the interviews. Would go through the process again. Great people and provided a lovely environment.
Hiring for big teams of Product folks.

Question 1
Detail your past experience with delivering a feature from 0-1
HM, followed by first round panel. Would have been followed by assignment, then bar raiser interview. They really give you lots of resources to prep. Unfortunately one of my interviewers was zoned out from the start and ended the interview halfway through.
