a one hour coversation with the head of the R&D department about the work I previously achieved and the courses I'm following in school, and then a presentation from his behalf about the subject of research and the amount of work expected from the intern.
The interview will be directly with the department manager, not just HR. So be prepared before you start the interview. Not very hard question, just ordinary one, parepared about it.

Interviews were standard, however they messed around and forgot to show up on two occasions leaving a bitter taste. Questions were about skills and previous projects with any relevance to the job role.
