I applied for the job through Indeed as soon as it was posted, and was invited in for an interview a few days later at their office in Merrimack, NH (which was a call center) and was told they were starting an HR team. The interviewer was very positive about my resume, education and experience , and I didn't miss a beat on any of his questions. Afterward, I followed up with a 'thank you' letter. Two weeks later, I sent an email to let him know I was still interested in the position. When I didn't get a response, I left a voicemail for him. He didn't not return my call, and one of the people who worked there did not know about the position. Another week later, I sent him an email and he told me the position had been filled. That had me scratching my head since he told me there would be a second interview, so I found it hard to believe they had found someone so quickly within a matter of few weeks.
