I applied through my campus' career fair. I got an invitation to take an online programming test on Codility. The test had 3 questions that had to be answered within 2.5 hours. I heard back within a week.

Solve programming problems as efficiently as possible. Can't give specifics, but knowing dynamic programming is pretty much needed.
