The recruiter reached out to me a couple weeks after I applied to schedule an interview. Scheduling was fine, and the interview was okay. The people I interviewed with seemed like they didn't know how to conduct an interview, and I just didn't feel like I clicked with them. So I wasn't expecting an offer and was actually planning to decline an offer if I got one because I had other prospects I was way more excited about. What made the experience so negative was what happened after the interview. They were unable to give me any sort of timeline for the hiring process and basically ghosted me. I had to reach out 6 weeks after my interview to find out that I would not be receiving an offer. I've heard they tend to ghost people who they do not plan to extend offers to, but to me that feels incredibly unprofessional, especially since my interview was not just a screener interview. Overall, it just came across as disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth and honestly made me skeptical of doing business with this company in the future if this is how they conduct their business.
