Postdoctoral Fellowships are awarded based on a submitted grant application which is then peer-reviewed. The entire process takes place online and in writing. There are no live interviews. The grant application has to include a detailed research plan of about 10 pages in length. An application is targeted at a specific hosting academic institution as well as a professor at that institution who will act as a host. It is recommended to submit a statement of the host in favor of the application.
