Submitted cv, asked to come for an interview. The day before the interview was asked to complete some behavioural questions. Head office in Warwick appeared fairly nice. Only during the interview was it made clear there would be more than one stage to the application process for the position. The first was an interview with a head engineer and was 2.5 hours, the second would involve presenting to the managing director and last 5 hours. Would not discuss potential salaries, not even bands, only saying they were competitive and offer a few perks.

Pre-interview assessment questions (maths and mechanics), then a 2 hour in person interview with a panel of 2 people which included CV discussion, reviewing the pre-assessment questions and another 20 minute technical exercise (sketching mechanism design concepts).
