The first step in the process was a TestGorilla assessment, which felt quite irrelevant for a senior role. While there were a couple of technical questions (HTML and Java debugging), the majority of the test consisted of aptitude-based questions requiring completion of ~20 questions in 5 minutes. This approach doesn’t seem appropriate or reflective of the skills required for senior-level positions.
