A phone interview with head of department was followed by in-person on-site with several people in the department, plus HR. This was done in each person's office or, in some cases, in a conference room, with the HR rep guiding from place to place. The individuals were very welcoming and a meeting was scheduled with top of department as well as those working in equivalent positions to the one for which I applied. HR was friendly and accommodating. Training was minimal.
