Interview process - 3 weeks.
Initial screening call from portugal and interview with hiring manager from Germany.
Applied online, after 5 days I received a email from HR to discuss about initial screening call. The call was about 20 minutes. After 2 hours I received an email to schedule an interview with hiring manager from Germany.
After 5 days I had interview with HM.
Hiring manager discussed in detail about my accounting experience, about a month end closing activities, bank account reconciliation, audit activities, reporting, account receivable and payable activities. Everything was discussed in detail. At the end of the call she was very happy and she asked me to wait for at least one week for the feedback, don't go away, she shared everything about what work I have to do when I join. It was very positive experience with the hiring manager in the interview.
Although after 10 days I received a final feedback email from talent acquisition partner from Lisbon, in the feedback is completely wrong.
They mentioned that I don't have experience in the bank account reconciliation and closing activities and they said thank you for your transparency about discussing these with the hiring manager in the interview.
I am fully surprised and I sent an email to HR that this is completely wrong feedback about my profile. In my resume I have bank account reconciliation and closing activities experience about 4 years and everything was discussed in detail with the hiring manager and I asked clarification to HR because this feedback is completely wrong it does not for my profile.
I did not received any answer back from the HR and I think this is wrong feedback and no transparency at all. I was very positive about this designation. But the interview feedback is completely wrong although I have experience in detail and they mentioned that I said that I don't have experience in the interview is completely wrong.
Advice to management - please look into the interview process and transparency, I feel like I wasted my time.
