Very odd. They reached out to me to discuss a recruiting role where I have specific expertise. Internal recruiter was unaware of who their CEO was, what role people played (discipline, not seniority), and asked me questions that were very specific, but was reading them. Someone emailed a generic "thank you for applying to Cruise but we aren't moving forward with your application." I never applied.
