The interview was straightforward. I was greeted at the door, signed in, and began a 1-on-1 interview in a team member's office. After, I received a tour, spoke with some of the engineers and leadership, and was required to fill out a 20pg assessment to verify my basic reading comprehension and simple math skills.
However, the blatant lack of COVID precautions was downright disturbing. I was told that masks are optional and that temperatures were not taken at the door. Bear in mind that Nashua has a mandate for mask usage when not able to socially distance; I saw only 2 employees wearing masks, the rest had no masks and were very blatantly not socially distancing. In fact, when I first arrive the team member who sat me down in their small office 3ft away from them would not even wear a mask even though she required me to do so. Additionally, the 'assessment' that I was required to take was just insulting. Supposedly this is a standard process for all applicants, and that is a problem. After having gone through 4 yrs of college, I was given questions that a middle schooler would find easy.
I was extremely displeased with the entire process and would not recommend it. I hope that leadership takes a hard look at their processes and practices.
