A normal interview comprise of 4 stages: HR screening, 2 technical tests and then meet with the leaders. My interview process was unfortunately anything but normal.
I applied for Backend Developer initially, did well and reached for final stage to meet the VP and CTO. They felt I could better fit in two more senior positions, so I did more interviews but this time I did not do so well and got passed over, alongside with the position that I initially applied for.
My advice: stick with the initial post you had applied for if you were offered a choice. I was not offer that choice.
