The interview process composed of 3 interviews, the first being a brief call with an HR professional to discuss experience and job requirements. The next ones are carried out using the STAR method of interviewing. I had never done STAR before, but it wasn’t too difficult. I’d say the formatting did feel a bit limiting though, because you have to think of specific examples for each question they asked. In both my second and third interview they asked me the same questions, which I wasn’t expecting, and I felt obligated to think of new things examples. I’m starting to think that getting to the final interview isn’t as good a sign as one might think, as I’ve consistently gotten to the end of interviews and either received no offer or a bad offer. I think it’s just a formality that once you meet with HR they’ll set you up to go through. That’s just been my experience though, I could be wrong. I could honestly feel at the end that I did not get the job because they seemed very unenthusiastic about what I was saying in the last interview, like I didn’t relate to them at all, so I wasn’t surprised when I got the call that they weren’t going to move forward with me.
