Cultural Interview with Russell van Sanden:
This was a very pleasant experience as Russell was easy to talk to and genuinely nice.
Online Code Challenge:
The challenge was not particularly difficult, covering typical React, SQL, HTML, and CSS questions.
Technical Interview with Stewart Taylor and Vahagn Sargsyan:
This round felt disorganized and haphazard. Stewart had not prepared a clear list of questions, and many of his backend questions were broad and generic. For instance, asking "What do you have to say about security in the backend?" can be problematic. Such broad questions make it challenging for the interviewee to respond in a way that aligns with the interviewer's expectations, as the question's generic nature leaves too much room for subjective judgment. When asked, "What do you have to say about security in the backend?" I could discuss security at length but still might not address the interviewer's specific agenda.
