I was contacted a day after applying for what was described to me as a 20 minute meet and greet. It was repeated multiple times that this was not an interview. The person who scheduled it specifically stated that it would not be a panel interview. The last 40 minutes of what ended up being an 80 minute meet and greet was in a room with 4 people all prepared with copies of my resume asking experience, behavioral, and situational based questions. Ultimately I was told my experience did not align with what they were looking for. I rated my experience as difficult because the heavy emphasis on this not being an interview and timeframe discussed led me to believe that I should hold off on taking time for interview prep. Had there been more transparency about what to anticipate for this meeting, it would have been fairly easy questions to answer.
