I went through three rounds of interviews (HR, VP, Project team) and everything seemed to go well. I was given a verbal offer, but asked for a written offer as well to make everything was official and so that I knew definitively what I was agreeing to in the role and received a negative response to that when speaking to HR. I never received that written copy, and assumed they rescinded the offer even though I just wanted everything in writing.
