I spoke for about half an hour on the phone with the CTO. Then I got a take-home which I failed. They emphasized many times that they strictly enforce the three-hour time limit on the take-home. You have to setup the Rails project on your own. I felt really rushed, but they gave me good feedback, and based off that I don't think I'd have moved forward anyway. The feedback is actually valuable though and I'll apply it to my code moving forward.
