After multiple back-and-forth communications to schedule a date, they ended up canceling the interview without informing me. They completely ghosted me. It was not only unprofessional but also quite telling about how they value candidates’ time and effort. Ironically, I recently passed by their new, shiny building—and all I could think was, what’s the point of a fancy exterior when the company can’t even extend basic courtesy during the hiring process? Fortunately, I landed a much better opportunity with higher pay elsewhere. This experience was a reminder that how a company treats potential hires says a lot about its culture.
