      Mark was friendly, and seemed to be honest, the interview was very short he basically wanted to know How I sell and deal with difficult situations. its a three step process interview with Mark, then interview with a trainer, then a phone interview...

      Found the position on career builder. The job description was very vague but they responded almost immediately to my application so I decided I would give it a try. Started to get a little worried when I saw reviews on ripoff reports and also how bare the website was. Showed up to the office for the interview - it's literally a little reception area, a slightly larger area for the meeting table, and the "CEOs office." The only people in the office was the receptionist and the CEO. That's it. The interview was with the boss man himself, lol. Red flag. Anyways, it's a job selling directv at places like Sam's club and Menard. So, if that floats your boat, that's what all the mystery is about. Woohoo. Lol.

      Asked really basic questions and kept writing random words on my resume that had nothing to do with my answer (I think he thought I couldn't see, haha).

      Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately the interview, website, press releases, or any research you completed did not give you adequate information regarding what CAI does. Consumer Acquisitions is a privately owned company that works with AT&T, Directv, as well as Samusng to represent their services and products in multiple big box retailers such as Costco, Walmart, Nebraska Furniture Mart, in addition to Sams Club and Menards. We are privileged to have relationships with some of the largest companies and retailers on the Planet. Our goal, as it states on our website, is to provide best in class training to individuals motivated to grow from a ground level marketing and sales representative position to a Branch Manager such as I did and many others have done to sustain growth required from our clients. To address your opinion on the office we have more than enough space to conduct business for our clients and generally don't give interviews tours of our office space. Since we are not a call center, after we conduct our morning meetings, employees are in the field working to fulfill our client obligations. In an Owner/Operator business such as ours is, it is not unlikely to deal directly with the CEO so I don't consider that a red flag. Our family-oriented environment allows employees to deal not only with management but also work closely with our CEO Mark. The preliminary interview is more of a meet and greet to identify what a potential candidate is looking for and if our career opportunity is a match. So any information being noted is for our future review session to which we invite candidates back for a second round interview. It doesn't seem like you were selected for that. We absolutely appreciate your interest in the company and wish you the best of luck in your future career search.

      Interview us a 3 round interview. 1st interview is really short. 2nd interview, you shadow an employee. 3rd they tell you they have it. They then explain the pay structure and explain to you that in 6 -10 months you should be running your own office. Most of the individuals have been there for less than a year however there were no promotions given.

      Thank you for your thoughts on the interview. The first round interview we conduct is a preliminary interview to explain our company/clients and see if there is a match. The process then could move to a second round, which is where it sounds like it went with you. During our second round interview we show the candidate our marketing approach and before the end of the interview, we run through our Management Training Program. This is also where we discuss compensation and the work schedule in full detail. If a candidate earns the opportunity to receive a third and final interview, a position could be offered. We are very selective to whom we select to represent our National Brands and National Retailers. Our recent office expansions are outlined in our most recent press release.
