Only one round interview for this certain position for a localization project after submitted the resume from University's careerlink. Very simple questions and the VP will introduce you the responsibility and the project very nice and clearly. The company is expanding their business rapidly these year and I'm sure there will be more localization needed in the near future.

The interview process was very straight forward and quick. I had a couple of phone interviews, then met with the Marketing Director, a sales representative, and the President. They asked me basic behavioral and experience based questions, and then had me write a sales pitch to examine my creativity and writing skills. After that, they gave me a brief tour and I was later called and emailed with a formal job offer.

Question 1
I was asked if I knew anything about the "channel" which was a completely new term for me. This wouldn't really be applicable if you were not interviewing for a channel position, though.

My F2F with the hiring Manager was interesting. He seemed little interested in open dialog and carried the interview, which is fine. However, he did not manage his time well and did not provide to me time to ask a number of prepared questions. Further, he came off as being a person who seemed not to like his job as he did not smile much, was concerned with distractions during the interview (leaving the door open so he could address others passing by) and just seemed unpleasant.

Question 1
"I'm difficult to work with. I don't smile much and tend to be abrasive." How do you work with people like this or someone like me?"
