Entretien
The application process is pretty awful. I passed a grammar test and a real-time assessment before moving on to the trial phase. During the trial phase, I was to edit a “live” article from their platform. This trial article was absolutely awful. It was poorly written, off-topic, and didn’t follow any of their standards. I gave up editing it halfway through because it was taking way too much time for the pay rate. I marked that the article needed revising and moved on. I didn’t expect an offer after that and wouldn’t have accepted one.

Question 1
There was no interview, just a long series of tests and assessments.
Like the other poster, I did a grammar test and then did a timed test. I sent back the test and then didn't hear anything for weeks. I inquired, and they replied quickly saying that my application wasn't going any farther.
I understand that a lot of places don't reply to initial applications, but to just ghost someone after going past the first step just seemed lame to me.
