J'ai postulé via une agence de recrutement. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Commonweal Housing
Entretien
Applied online via a recruiter.
I applied to this organisation and was really interested in their line of work and was pleased to be interviewed for the post.
It was two people who interviewed me over Teams and they were nice and friendly and it made me feel at ease.
I thought the interview went well and I connected with them and did the best I could. Towards the end of the roll they mentioned another post and if I would be interested however it was a similar rate of pay and not where my strengths lie.
I heard back later that day from the recruiter via email saying I hadn't got the role but they were very positive about me and would have liked me to interview for the other post. They chose a candidate who they felt was an even more experienced administrator and could hit the ground running.
This was really disappointing as I felt as an all rounder who's clearly switched on in housing matters could have added so much value to the organisation genuinely above and beyond admin.
I've worked across sectors in various admin roles some quite senior so for the recruiter to say they went with someone who could hit the ground running was a little bit galling.
I will endeavour to keep in touch with the organisation's work and who knows maybe something can come up in the future or opportunities for cross working as I have been fortunate enough to have been offered a role elsewhere in the sector.
More people should know about this organisation's work and if you get an opportunity I think you should go for it as it could be quite interesting :)
