J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Comcast (Jacksonville, FL) en févr. 2012

I first had a phone interview and then an in-person interview which consisted of a panel that began with a presentation I was asked to prepare. I was asked direct questions on experience rather than situational-type questions-- which is easier for me but can limit the experience that you talk about. Ask the interview about the position so you are clear on their expectations.

A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn asking me if I was interested. I went through a screening and 2 panel interviews during a 2 month process just to be told they gave it to an internal candidate who could "faster meet their needs" so I basically wasted 2 months of my life studying for this job

I submitted an online application and then was invited to a phone interview with the recruiter, Meagan. She called from east coast, so remember the time difference if you are in a non-EST time zone. Meagan was very nice and she asked me about my prior internship experience, especially my vendor experience. The phone interview last about 15 minutes.

Question 1
Salary. When asked about the expectation of salary, I provided a range but had no idea whether it's reasonable
Excellent hiring process. Very clear about what the job would entail and the expectations for measuring success. Once I accepted, a recruiter guided me through the process of hiring, which was also excellent. However, know that this is your chance to state your intentions upfront -- if you want to get ahead here, start saying so in the interview, because at a large company it will take time, even if you're a super-star.
