My interview process was lengthy. It involved several phone calls, thank you letters and interviews for different sales positions for different sales teams. Finally I was hired after weeks worth of phone calls to my hiring manager. I was asked to take a test that took approx 1 hour, and then interviewed with different departments and levels of management. It was not an unfriendly process, just one that took a lot of persistance. They definately are looking for go getters and "yes" people. In my opinion, the local sales side of the business is ego-driven and much less professional than the regional sales side of the buisiness. The work culture is non-stop learning new poroducts and processes. There is incredible pressure to sell new products and it can cost you your job if you do not succeed within a certain timeline. Probably 50% of the sales force is on a "healthy business plan" including ranking President's Club winners. The sales enviornment is based on strictly held standards or new business, on-line business and on-air accounts for every given month.

It was pleasant at first but once they learned i didnt speak english, even thought it wasnt required, they moved to try and disqualify me. Was not a nice experience.
