I successfully completed the interview process, but I have not yet received a response following the submission of my documents. Despite multiple follow-up attempts, I have not received a rejection email either. I am quite disappointed with the lack of communication, as it suggests a disregard for the candidates and their valuable time.

I was scheduled for a half hour phone-screening interview with the recruiter which turned into an hour and a half conversation. The recruiter asked me very few relevant questions and instead spent the majority of the time talking about herself and criticizing my current company. In spite of this, I thought the length of the call was a good sign and she seemed eager to move me to the next step. She specifically asked me to call her in a few days and she would let me know if I had moved on. She was adamant that she wanted to work closely with me throughout the process and would do whatever necessary to help me out. However, it’s been over a week now and she hasn’t answered any of my calls or called me back in response to multiple voicemails and all of my emails have been left unanswered. I don’t think this necessarily reflects poorly on Columbia as a company, but this recruiter was seriously unprofessional and not respectful of my time at all. It’s disappointing to be ghosted after she claimed to be so committed to serving the applicants and developing a relationship.
