It was brief to say the least. First I received an email stating a desire to have a 30 minute phone chat. I responded with a few times available and we chose a time. Interviewer called on time which was nice and the interview quickly began.
She stated out with a few facts about the job and company with a lot of buzz words mixed in. After that she let me respond with my history with my career.
Next a few "rank yourself from 1 to 5 on your skill with C#, SQL". I am not a 5 with either though I have a desire to learn so I responded with what I was comfortable with.
This question was intended to be a programmatic question but was delivered poorly or constructed poorly - I'll let the reader decide. "If I gave you a data set of 10, how would you automate it?" Besides being horribly vague, it doesn't give any further information as to what or why this data set of 10 needs to be automated. I asked for more information but didn't receive anything helpful.
At this point we are 10 minutes into the phone call and I get the "ok well I don't have anything further, do you have any questions for me?" I took this as a pretty clear sign that interview was over and I wouldn't be hearing back. I decided to at least inquire where the business location was. "Hillsboro" but where exactly in Hillsboro? Streets of Tanasborne. Guess I will resort to Google for the detailed answers.
